Sautéed Littleneck Clams

This is a quick and easy dinner recipe.

24 littleneck clams
2 cloves chopped garlic
1 thinly sliced onion
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup dry white wine
1 lemon
1 handful fresh picked parsley
1 pinch of crushed pepper

Sauté onion and garlic on low in olive oil until soft, add white wine and crushed red pepper, simmer for 5-10 min. Add parsley, juice of 1 lemon and clams. Cover and steam clams until they open. 

Serve in a big bowl with crusty bread or over pasta.
