Mere Point Oysters
Lemon wedges or hot sauce (really its up to you. You can use any sauce you like)
- Place whole un-shucked oysters on a very hot grill CUP side DOWN and the flat TOP side UP.
- Wait several minutes until they pop open. This can take anywhere from 4-10 minutes depending on the size of the oyster and the temperature of your grill.
- After they open up, remove from the grill with tongs. The shells will be very hot.
- Once the shell has cooled down a little bit, the top shell can be peeled right off and you can dress them as you like and eat them from the shell with a fork!
